In 2012, Vegal was the first brand certified in Spain as a vegan wine.

Unlike other wines, our Vegal are clarified with gelatins of non-animal origin. This fact, which shows Mateo Wines' awareness of achieving 100% sustainable and natural wines, makes Vegal ideal for diets in which animal products are dispensed with. In addition, the grapes used for the production of our wines come from organic crops, vineyards that grow under the Mediterranean sun, in a privileged environment.
